10 Things I Learned from Hallmark Movies.

Currently I am sitting under a big cozy blanket with tea in hand while a cheesy Christmas movie plays. I think this one is called Dreaming About Christmas or something along those lines.

In case you didn't know - I LOVE really cheesy movies and every year Hallmark delivers some of the best! Over the past month or so I've been recording as many as I could find and I am proud to say that I have watched way more than I can count. So for those of you who are maybe a little less experienced in the Hallmark world - here are some lessons I've learned:

1. If you're a baker or a teacher you're going to fall in love with a grumpy guy who has a heart change.

2. If you're in the corporate world you're the grumpy person who needs a heart change but you'll fall in love with a sweetheart. Also, as a part of the corporate world you're probably too focused on your job to care about love, family, or Christmas.

3. If you want to find your true love sooner, get stranded in a small town or wander onto a Christmas Tree Farm.

4. Angels and Santa Claus are interchangeable and are often trying to teach you a lesson in the most inconvenient way possible.

5. Your true love is the one person you least want it to be and you'll probably bond while ice fishing.

6. Glitter fixes everything.

7. The bigger your tree the more you love Christmas and it needs to be real or don't even bother.

8. There are about a hundred countries called Maldova, or some variation of it and they all have single princes.

9. It is totally normal to tell someone you love them after knowing them for two days. There's no way they'll panic or freak out.

10. When faced with the choice between cute clothes and warm clothes, always choose cute clothes.

Thank you Hallmark movies for all of the cheese, laughter, Christmas memories and hours spent with my mom. I wouldn't trade you for anything.

How many of you also love watching Hallmark movies?! I know you're out there! ;)
